Government Revenue
I just found a cool website. Lots of good tables and graphs. You can make your own tables and charts for government revenue all the way back to 1792.

And here's a neat fact I discovered: Only 53% of federal revenue comes from income tax. When you figure in state and local revenue, income taxes only account for one-third of the total.
