Political stranglehold is loosening in Alaska

Ethan Berkowitz and Diane Benson are challenging Don Young, the 3rd most senior Republican in the House. But Young might not even get out of the primary. The real debates must include Governor Sarah Palin's man, Sean Parnell.

Whether it's Parnell or a Democrat, Alaskans will likely have a new U.S. Representative this year.

In other good news for Alaskans, Ted Stevens might be joining Frank Murkowski in retirement this year. Mark Begich held a nine point lead over Stevens (the longest-serving Republican Senator) in a recent Rasmussen poll.

Many Alaskans looked the other way as Young, Frank-Lisa Murkowski and Stevens used their federal clout to bring home the bacon and now we are cleaning up political corruption scandals daily.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely, they say.

Desperately seeking Sarah
Americans need a little Palin Power

Sarah Palin the current Governor of Alaska is John McCain’s ultimate choice for VP. I do believe a woman is next in line for the presidency. All Conservatives like her. She is popular in Alaska. Hillary supporters would relish her. She would solidify a 12 or possibly 16 year Republican executive.

John McCain’s boring campaign is wearing thin. I need a little Palin Power to get me interested again. They would say ‘but she is only a half term Governor!’ And your point is?

That’s all I have to say about that!”

Thanks for the comment. Sarah Palin is NOT safe with Wootengate (firing Walt Monegan) hanging on her neck. Palin would be too easily associated with Republican scandals in Alaska. Vote against corruption!
